Hexagonal wire mesh has hexagonal holes of the same size. Its material is mainly low carbon steel. Depending on the surface treatment, hexagonal wire mesh can be divided into two types: galvanized wire and PVC coated wire. The hexagonal wire diameter of galvanized hexagonal wire mesh is 0.3 mm-2.0 mm, and the wire diameter of PVC coated hexagonal wire mesh is 0.8 mm-2.6 mm. Hexagonal wire mesh has good flexibility and corrosion resistance, and is widely used as gabion mesh for protecting slopes. According to different applications, hexagonal wire mesh can be divided into chicken wire mesh and slope protection mesh (or gabion mesh), with the former having smaller mesh holes. Our hexagonal mesh is widely used in Latin America such as Argentina.

Hexagonal Wire Mesh Specification:

1. Material: galvanized wire, stainless steel wire or PVC coated wire.
2. Weaving method: forward twist and reverse twist (counter twist)
3. Surface treatment: galvanized before weaving, PVC coated Hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized.
4. Diameter of galvanized hexagonal wire: 0.3 mm - 2.0 mm.
5. PVC coated hexagonal wire diameter: 0.8 mm - 2.6 mm.
6. Hole diameters (inches): 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2" and 2".
7. Wire Gauge: 18 G, 19 G, 20 G, 21 G, 22 G, 23 G, 24 G, 25 G, and 26 G.
8. Widths: Other gauges are available upon request.
9. Mesh application types: chicken wire and slope protection wire.
