Thorn rope classification
Classified by twist method
The barbed wire is an isolation protective net formed by winding the barbed wire on the main wire (strand wire) through a variety of weaving processes.
Three methods of twisting the barbed rope: positive twisting, reverse twisting, positive and negative twisting.
Positive twist method: that is, two or more iron wires are twisted into two strands of wire rope and then the barbed rope is wound on the two strands of wire.
Reverse twist method: It is to wrap the neb wire around the main wire (that is, a single wire) and then add an iron wire to twist and weave it into two strands of barbed rope.
Positive and negative twist method: it is twisted in the opposite direction from the direction of the main wire winding. It's not a twist in one direction.
Processing classification
The reason for surface treatment is to strengthen the anti-corrosion strength and extend the service life. Galvanized wire as the name suggests, the surface treatment is galvanized, can be electric galvanized and hot dip galvanized; PVC barbed wire for the surface treatment is PVC plastic-coated treatment, the inside barbed wire for black wire, electroplating wire and hot plating wire.
Aluminum-coated wire is a new product that has just been listed, and its surface is covered with a layer of aluminum, which is also called aluminum plating. We all know that aluminum is not rusty, so the surface of aluminum plating can greatly improve the anti-corrosion ability, so that its life is longer. The use of barbed rope: used in factory, private villas, residential buildings on the first floor, construction sites, banks, prisons, printing factories, military machinery, bungalows, low walls and other places anti-theft, protection, etc.
Fold edit the history of this piece of thorn rope
Around the middle of the nineteenth century, the agricultural migration of the United States began with most farmers clearing the wilderness, moving westward to the plains and southwest to the border. As agriculture moved, farmers became more conscious of changing the environment, which marked a gradual shift from the woodlands of the east to the drier grassland climate of the west. Because of the difference in temperature and geographical location, the plants and habits of the two places are very different. Before the land was cleared, due to the stones everywhere and the lack of water, when the agriculture migrated, due to the lack of agricultural tools to adapt to the local area and the corresponding agricultural technology, many places were not occupied by people, that is, unowned things. In response to the new farming environment, many farmers began to set up barbed wire fences in their own growing areas.
As the migration from east to west provided raw materials for the vast number of people, from the initial east they had built stone walls, in the process of westward migration people found many tall trees, wooden fences and gradually expanded from the raw materials to the south, at that time cheap labor made construction easy. But in the far west, where rocks and trees are not as abundant, fences are not as extensive
Due to the lack of materials in early reclamation, people's traditional concept of walls can play a protective role and protect their borders from being destroyed by other external forces and trampled by animals, so the awareness of protection is very strong.
Because of the shortage of wood and stone, people are constantly looking for alternatives to be used as fences to protect their crops. From 1860 to 1870, people began to cultivate plants with thorns as walls, but with little success because of the scarcity of plants and the high price, and the inconvenience of construction was abandoned. The lack of fencing has made the clearance process not so smooth. Their dilemma was changed in 1873 when a new research effort in Dekabur, Illinois, invented barbed wire to defend its land. From this beginning, the thorn rope has just entered the process of history
Production process and technology:
In China, most factories that produce barbed wire use galvanized wire or plastic-coated iron wire to process barbed wire directly. This method of twisting thorn rope can improve the production efficiency, but sometimes there are disadvantages that the nemator is not fixed enough. With the development of technology, some manufacturers now begin to use the process of adding some crimping, so that the surface of the wire is no longer completely smooth, thus greatly improving the role of stabilizing the spur pitch.
